Nerissa J. Persaud is a Guyanese-Canadian organisational strategist whose life and work have taken her across the Caribbean, North America and Asia. She was born in Georgetown, Guyana, and is based in the Cayman Islands.
Her work explores how leadership, relationships and the conditions inside an organisation shape people’s experience of work. Her guiding purpose is expressed in the name of her company: ignite the human spark.

At Ignite Labs, Nerissa reviews each application and questionnaire herself. She considers the challenge, its impact, previous attempts and the perspectives of the people involved before deciding whether a micro-lab is a fit.
For selected organisations, that evaluation informs a focused experience for up to six participants. The intention is to help the team understand the problem more clearly and identify a meaningful next step.
