Terms & Conditions
Clear expectations for your application, your account and your lab experience.
1. About these terms
Ignite Labs is operated by Ignite The Human Spark SEZC, Cayman Islands. These terms cover this website, the company portal, applications and complimentary micro-labs. Contact labs@ignitethehumanspark.com with questions.
By submitting an application, you confirm that you are authorised to act for the organisation and agree to these terms for that application. Applying does not create a paid booking or an obligation to purchase.
2. Eligibility and selection
Applications must meet the published criteria: one real organisational challenge, a completed questionnaire, a participating decision-maker and no more than six people, including that decision-maker. The coordinator must be authorised to submit the application and participant details.
The founding complimentary offer is limited to ten selected organisations. Selection depends on suitability, availability and the scope of the lab. Applying does not guarantee a place. We may seek clarification or decline a challenge requiring a different specialist or formal process.
3. Assessment and application status
Nerissa personally evaluates the questionnaire. “Received” acknowledges submission; “Processing” means review is underway. “More information required” means clarification is needed. “Approved” confirms selection, with scheduling and practical arrangements confirmed separately. “Rejected” means the application has not been selected.
You may save and edit a draft before submission. Submitted applications are read-only: use the response field when clarification is requested, or email us for other corrections. Submission confirmations and reviewer alerts are queued automatically. Status changes appear in the portal; other follow-up emails are sent separately. We do not promise an email for every status change or a fixed decision date.
4. Your account and appropriate use
One coordinator account manages the organisation’s application and roster. Keep your mailbox and sign-in codes secure, supply accurate information and report suspected unauthorised access promptly.
Do not impersonate someone, access another organisation’s records, interfere with the service or submit unlawful material. Share only information you are authorised to provide. Avoid unnecessary personal details, restricted third-party records and sensitive employee information. Give participants access to the Privacy notice.
We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect people, investigate misuse or comply with law. Contact us if you believe access has been restricted in error.
5. Complimentary sessions
The complimentary micro-lab is a focused 45-minute session for the selected team. It aims to clarify a challenge and identify a useful shift or next step; it does not promise to resolve every aspect of a problem.
There is no lab fee or requirement to buy a book, masterclass or advisory service. Any travel or optional expense must be disclosed and separately agreed in writing before it is incurred. Contact us promptly if you need to cancel or reschedule; alternative dates depend on availability. We will notify you promptly if we need to change a session.
6. Paid engagements
Paid services require a separate written agreement covering scope, fees, applicable taxes, participants, books, travel, payment, cancellation, rescheduling and delivery. Website prices are indicative until confirmed. The portal does not collect payment.
Where a signed engagement agreement differs from these website terms, that agreement governs the relevant paid services, subject to mandatory law.
7. Confidentiality, materials and publicity
Participate respectfully and share only what is needed. We use application information as described in our Privacy notice. Participants should respect one another’s privacy, but we cannot guarantee the conduct of other team members. Agree any NDA or specific confidentiality arrangements with us before sharing restricted information.
You retain rights in material you provide and permit us to use it only as necessary to assess the application and deliver the agreed service, subject to the Privacy notice. Website content, the book, frameworks and session materials remain protected by their respective intellectual-property rights. Materials may be used for the agreed internal purpose; commercial reproduction, redistribution or recording requires permission. Statutory exceptions remain unaffected.
Applying does not authorise recording a session or publishing a testimonial or identifiable case study. These require separate permission covering the proposed use.
8. Scope and responsibility
Our Disclaimer explains the scope of the work. Organisations remain responsible for their decisions and implementation. Particular outcomes are not guaranteed.
We aim to keep the website accurate and available, but maintenance, faults or supplier outages may interrupt access. Contact us if a technical problem prevents submission. Nothing in these terms excludes fraud or any duty, liability or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Concerns, law and changes
Send concerns to labs@ignitethehumanspark.com so we can seek a practical resolution. This does not restrict access to courts, regulators or statutory complaint processes.
These terms are governed by Cayman Islands law, subject to mandatory protections under another relevant law. These website terms impose no exclusive foreign-court requirement or waiver of statutory rights.
Revisions apply to future use and are identified by their date. Material changes to an already agreed engagement require separate agreement. Revised website terms do not retrospectively remove accrued rights.
